AFFILIATE TODAY

Welcome to 2016-17!

Washington is a direct affiliation state. This means that both the state and national dues are paid directly to the National FCCLA office. The national office then returns the state portion of the dues to the WA-FCCLA Executive Director’s office.

For 2016-17 the WA-FCCLA dues are $6.00/member and the national FCCLA dues are $9.00/member. Advisers must also pay dues. A minimum of 12 members is required to affiliate, however, you can enter less than 12 member names and pay for 12 establishing a credit until the time you enter additional members. Members must belong to both the state and the national organizations.

Chapters receive the most benefits from the organization when at least 12 members are affiliated by November 1. Chapters that affiliate by this date will begin receiving the Teen Times magazine in January, are eligible to purchase FCCLA items at the affiliated chapter prices, begin receiving the FCCLA Adviser Newsletters and are allowed one additional State Leadership Conference delegate. You can become an affiliated chapter with less than 12 members by paying for 12.

Members must be affiliated prior to Regional STAR Events in order to participate. Regional STAR Events occur in January this year.

ONLINE AFFILIATION

We have information here that we hope will help you through the affiliation process.

It is important that you check with your district IT folks and have them determine whether your computer can access the on-line affiliation system. If your school computer cannot access the on-line affiliation system, you may need to affiliate from your home computer.  There is NO paper affiliation process.  You must affiliate on-line.

Nationals will not affiliate members until your online information has been “Submitted” AND your money (not the PO) has been receivedSTART EARLY.  Our state registration for Regional STAR Events and State Leadership Conference is linked to the National System.  If you have not paid for a student, you will not find their name on the affiliation list to register them for Regional STAR Events.

You can affiliate less than 12 members by paying for 12.  You will then show a credit on your account and can continue to add members without additional cost until you exceed the 12th member.  All Chapter Advisers will be billed for their dues.

If you are having difficulty remembering the password from last year? You may use the Forgot Password link on the home page of the affiliation website. Once an adviser has logged in to the chapter, the password can be changed by clicking on the Chapter Adviser(s) tab and editing the password for the individual adviser.  If you are a new Chapter Adviser at your school, “Forgot Password” will not work.
